Small Business Training - at no cost to you!

The ASPECT Small Business Employee Training Program helps small businesses grow the potential of their low-skilled workers by providing access to government-funded training.

Eligible employees can access up to $900 for training courses that are tailored to their needs.

Some examples of possible training include:

Accounting and/or Computer Skills, Cashier Training, Customer Service, Driver's License, FoodSafe, Forklift Operation, GED, health and safety training such as Occupational First Aid or Fall Prevention Training, other types of industry-specific training or trades certification.

Our team of career professionals will help:

• Assess employee learning needs
• Develop a training plan 
• Research available courses and schools

We will also:

• Provide access to 5 online small business courses
• Provide funding for additional training courses (up to $900)
• Follow up to ensure that the training was successful

Eligibility Requirements
You are eligible for this program if your company has less than 50 employees. Participants must be considered "growth employees" - individuals that need additional training for the workplace.

Ideal participants do not have a high school diploma; or, have a diploma but are lacking accreditation or essential skills.
