Training Innovations has been in the business of delivering community-based and online career services for over 15 years. Our service design is grounded in leading-edge adult learning and career counselling theory, quality service standards, best practices and a client centred approach.

We consider our human resources talent our greatest resource and we are committed to the career development of our team members. Our core values of Accountability, Communication, Innovation, Performance, Relationship and Spirit are integral to our culture and business success.

The opportunity to join our dynamic Skills Connect for Immigrants Program as a Career Strategist awaits a talented Career Practitioner seeking a new challenge.

The Skills Connect for Immigrants Program is an employment bridging program assisting immigrants to secure or improve employment that utilizes their pre-arrival skills, knowledge and experience and is funded by the Ministry of Advanced Education and Labour Market Development.

At Training Innovations this program offers an exciting array of career management learning services which are based on assessment of individual client need to ensure employment success. Services are offered in a flexible career development counselling delivery model, which includes business connections designed to create employment opportunities and support new immigrants in their successful integration into the workplace.

The Program is delivered mainly out of our Burnaby head office location with regularly scheduled appointments in our North Vancouver location and monthly itinerant services out of our Squamish location and other Lower Mainland communities. Team members will be expected to accommodate a work schedule which may incorporate day, evening and periodic Saturday services.

If you are passionate about working with immigrants as they transition into successful employment and integrate into a new culture, and you have 2 or more years of career development practitioning experience, we'd love to meet with you about this very exciting program and employment opportunity.

This is a unique opportunity to join a successful, progressive career development company in a time of industry transformation. Come grow with us!
